The Rous Family
Bruisyard Hall has been owned by the Rous family since 1611. This ancient Suffolk family look after the Hall, the newly converted barn and over 700 acres of country estate in the heart of the county.
Owner Robert Rous works closely with his family and soon – to – be son in law Paul Daws on the management of Bruisyard Hall as it enters an exciting year of developments.
Paul is project managing the re-development of the Hall to transform it in to a top for-hire location whilst retaining its historic roots as a well-loved country retreat.
‘The family and I are very fond of Bruisyard Hall and its idyllic location. It’s a unique setting, filled with so much history, and this year’s modernisation whilst retaining the historic core of Hall is sure to be a rewarding challenge, and will enable us to open up unseen parts of the Hall and wider estate for the benefit of our guests.’ Paul explains. ‘We warmly welcome people to follow our progress through our website blog as we become the ultimate country house experience for weekend breaks, holidays and private hire.’
