The Local Area
Bruisyard Hall may be in the heart of the countryside, but it’s just 12 miles from the stunning Suffolk coastline. With fabulous areas to explore like Aldeburgh and Southwold, you can be breathing in the sea air as you stroll along the beach, enjoying fresh seafood or even taking a bracing dip in the sea within half an hour of Bruisyard Hall.
Visit Framlingham, a 15 minutes drive from the Hall. Framlingham is a town filled country activities and sites to enjoy. With a 13 Century castle at the centre, a 700 year old Saturday Market on the market hill, and a variety of horse shows, galas and town gatherings. The incredible Anglo-Saxon burial site of Sutton Hoo is also close by, just passed the beautiful town of Woodbridge which has a great selcetion of restaurants and boutique shops to enjoy.
But if you don’t feel like moving to far, then our own ancient hall and grounds are at your door step to explore, including plenty of waymarked walks right outside the door thorugh the ancient forrest or bicycle routes through the stunning country lanes.
